I was born in Cordoba, Spain, a city globally known for Art and Culture.
I graduated in Economics. After been working in a Bank and a private company in Spain, I went to London (England) to improve my English. There, I met Marcel, from Switzerland, and married him shortly after.
We have lived with our three children in Switzerland, Canada and since 2001 in New York.
In 2002, I started painting for the first time. I took Art classes at the Rye Art Center (NY) and , later on, at the Katonah Art Center (NY).
In 2006, I featured my first solo exhibit at the Mt. Kisco Public Library (NY). After some others solo and group Shows, I reached my dream of participating in many Group Art Shows in a Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan.
In 2015, when living in Germany for 9 months, I attended an Art School to learn Abstract Painting. That opened my mind into a very new and wide Art World I didn't expect before and it has definitely influenced my work.
Two of my paintings have been awarded (May 2011) at The Seventh Annual Beaux Arts Exhibit of The Women's Civic Club of Katonah, (Katonah, NY).
To this day, I have been commisioned by various international clients, who have brought my art back to their countries, including Asia, Europe and the Americas.
From Realism to Impressionism to Abstract, my work have been changing and improving. Applying thick, brilliant impasto with a palette knife in my paintings gave me the freedom I always wanted to reach.
